Description
Speed and comfort
Trek has made a mountain bike that is fully equipped. A carbon frame paired with high-quality components and suspension elements results in a light weight, fast XC bike.
Are you looking for a bike that'll inpress all your cycling buddies? Then read on about the Trek Procaliber 9.7
Technology
Pleasant driving characteristicsThe basis of this Trek mountain bike is the carbon frame. This, together with the straight shot down tube, creates a light and stiff frame which gives you a lot of control over the mountain bike. In addition, the mtb has the famous Isospeed technology, which gives you as a rider that little bit of extra comfort. A lot of comfort is obtained from the RockShox fork with remote lock-out, which handles the unevenness in the trails excellently. With the rebound adjust you can adjust the suspension to your liking.
Excellent gearing group
Shifting is done with a SRAM GX 1 x 12 drivetrain, which shifts excellently. The 12 speed 11-52 cassette gives you a gear range of 520 percent. This way you can also cycle up the steeper slopes easily. The hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano provide an enormous amount of braking power, and they are also very easy to modulate. Even when you ride in bad conditions, you can rely on the excellent braking performance of the Trek Procaliber 9.7
Go tubeless
The tyres on this MTB are the Bontrager XR2 Team Issue. These tires provide a lot of grip, while the rolling resistance is low. In addition, these tires are Tubeless Ready, just like the rims, so you can convert to tubeless. The advantage of tubeless riding is the low rolling resistance and high puncture resistance.

Lovely light and fast bike. Steers well. Everything goes fast.
Everything does what it needs to do

Solid bike but but parts selection could be better
Nice bike, feels stiff, shifts well and was delivered in good condition. I did have to reset the lockout cable. Too bad Trek is a bit wrong in terms of components in my opinion: - A 32 x 10 as the heaviest gear is already too small with a bit of a tailwind. I already ordered a 34 front blade but would have preferred a heavier cassette as well (instead of a 52 sprocket). - I also had to replace the 145mm saddle because it was too wide. - The 2.25 tyres are also towards the narrow side for a hardtail - but because of the narrow 23mm rim, I don't know if a 2.40 tyre will fit properly.

Super MTB
Super Mtb. carbon makes it light and also good maneuverability. Sram gx drivetrain, shifts nicely and as it should. The front fork springs perfectly and is top notch with the isospeed (clear difference ). Further very nicely finished Trek. The saddle is also a plus!!!

I should have done this earlier, save up and buy a nice carbon bike. Every day is a pleasure. No negative things yet
